The Air Force Naval Housing Board (AFNHB) was established on 16th Nov 1979 to meet the housing needs of the Air Force and Naval personnel and their widows at 'No Profit No Loss basis'. This Board is registered under the Societies Registration Act 1860.
Any query through personal visit or through telephone will be attended to even during the lunch hours (1300hrs - 1400hrs).

    Registration details be indicated on all correspondence with AFNHB FOR SPEEDY RESPONSE. AFNHB is not charging interest or any sort of interest from allottees. Only equalisation charges are levied on late joiner/ fresh allottee and on the allottee who default in installments. These equalisation charges are charged with a view to bring parity among all allottees. The charges, so collected, are ploughed back to project deficit, if any. As recently reported in the leading news paper that about 77% Real Estate Projects are delayed in the country.

    Mysore Project : The tendering process for award of contract for Mysore project is in progress. The process may take two months to be concluded. The Board has therefore decided to defer the 1st installment from 16 Mar to May/Jun 15. The firm date and the exact amount to be paid by the allottees will be intimated once the tendering process is concluded.

    The Board has proposed to purchase a private land at Madhurawada in Visakhapatnam. The Proposal has been forwarded to the Chairman, AFNHB for approval. As soon as it is approved, the Board will proceed further to make payment and acquire the land. The scheme will be announced once the land acquisition process is complete.

    Jaipur Ph-II : Allottees who had opted to withdraw from the scheme are hereby informed that refunds are being processed. Refund cheques have been sent directly to the Bank in respect of those who have intimated the bank details (after deducting refunds to loaning agency).     ALLOTTEES who have opted for withdrawal from the scheme are requested to forward their PAN No. to this Board through e-mail on priority.
    As per statutary compliance of IT Act 1961, 10% of TDS is to be deducted if PAN is available else 20% of TDS shall be deducted.

    Jaipur Ph-II (Update 3 Jun 14)
    1. Option from Jaipur Phase II alloattees were sought vide our letter dated 13 Mar 13. Based on the option received, the project stands shelved in its present state.
    2. The allottees who have opted for withdrawal from the scheme will be refunded. The refunds are being processed. Those who have not forwarded their bank details till date are requested to forward the same at the earliest.
    3. The allottees who have opted to continue with the scheme are not be refunded the money. Fresh allotment letters with amended specifications and terms and conditions will be issued to such allottees after the contract is finalised.
    4. The allotment letters issued earlier be treated as cancelled.
    5. Scheme will be re-launched with amended specifications shortly. The re-tendering is in progress.

  • Greater Mohali : Equalization Charges : It is informed the equalization charges in the project are charged from late joiners/ defaulters as per the rates prescribed in the Master Brochure and Allotment Letter. To bring the parity among the allottees such charges, so collected, are ploughed back to the project for common benefit of all the allottees. In this project the equalization charges were freezed on 08 Jan 12 means no charges will be charged from the allottees who delay the payments beyond this frozen date. Similarly, no equalization charges shall be charged from the allottees on the interim installment as called on 29 Apr/ 02 Jul 13.

  • A number of allottees of Greater Mohali Scheme, who have taken House Building Loan from Air Force Group Insurance Society, have approached this Board to take up a case for timely payment of the interim installment due on 29 Apr 13. Based on their request, a case is being taken up with AFGIS. Further communication to the affected allottees shall follow in due course of time.

  • Kind Attention: Greater Mohali Allottees : All allottees are informed that the interim installment called on 29 Apr 13 is towards the part of final installment called earlier. There is no further escalation/increase in the cost as intimated in the allottees meeting at site on 15 Nov 11. The project expenditure are being incurred whereas the receipts from the allottees are yet to be received. A few of the allottees approached to this Board to accept the part of the installment now and balance at the time of possession of Dwelling Unit. The request of the allottees has been considered favorably and also in order to meet the expenditure and to ease out the final burden on the allottees, this interim installment is called. All allottees are requested to remit this interim installment latest by 29 Apr 13, failing which equalization charges as per policy, shall be charged.
