UPDATE – COIMBATORE SCHEME

1. Please refer to your application regarding demand survey of the above referred scheme.

2.        AFNHB had procured industrial land from National Textile Corporation at Sathy Road (location plan enclosed) and applied for land conversion to the Corporation of Coimbatore in Sept’ 06. The conversion process includes approval from Corporation of Coimbatore, Local Planning Authority Coimbatore and District Town & Country Planning Chennai. It is envisaged that the entire process of conversion is likely to take atleast another three more months and thereafter four months for plan approval.

3. AFNHB had been receiving repeated requests for independent row houses . But it may be appreciated that complete independent row houses is not possible within the available land. Therefore , to accommodate maximum number of applicants, it has been decided to plan row housing as well as flats in S+4 configuration (which is the permissible maximum height of construction).

4. The approx. details and rough costs are as under:-

5. The costs of Row House / flats indicated above is only a rough estimate and are not based on tenders which is yet to be floated. 100% Car parking under stilts/Porch is being catered for. Cost of car parking depending upon area and LTMF will be over & above the cost indicated.

6. You are requested to intimate the choices of accommodation as per performa enclosed latest by 10^th Apr 07. In case no response is received by the due date it will be presumed that you are not interested in the Coimbatore scheme and the deposit amount in demand survey will be refunded as per rules of the AFNHB. It may please be borne in mind that multiple choices will not be entertained. The applicants are requested to opt for only one type of dwelling unit. If the response for a particular dwelling unit is more than the number of planned units, the allotment will be decided by draw of lots. Those who get confirmed allotment are required to pay the balance of registration amount of Rs.90,000/- and Rs.45,000/- respectively. While those who are unsuccessful in the draw will be asked to exercise their choice among the dwelling units where vacancies exist if any, in case they are not desirous of the same, their deposit amount will be refunded as per rules.
